Jaguar's first convertible since the momentous E-Type

The most luxurious Jaguar model available at the time of its arrival, this 1989 Jaguar XJS Convertible is finished in its original Satin Beige Metallic with a Chocolate canvas power folding top over a Barley leather interior. It is heavily equipped as standard with a three-speed automatic transmission, 15-inch polished aluminum wheels, Lucas fog lights, air conditioning, leather bucket seats, power steering, power brakes power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, AM/FM cassette stereo, and cruise control.

According to its clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report, this XJS was first registered in St. Louis, Missouri in September 1988 and remained in the state for more than 30 years under a small number of attentive owners. Regular servicing is documented by the report, including a substantial refresh at European car specialists GLM Motorworks in February 2021 where the front shock absorbers and bushings were replaced, the fuel system was serviced, and the fuel injectors were replaced. The Florida-based consignor acquired the car that July. It has since received additional care including a service in October 2025.

Carefully maintained by a string of meticulous collectors, this example boasts just 6,726 miles from new. With collector mileage and a lifetime of documented, enthusiast-level care, this 1989 XJS Convertible is an as new example of Jaguar's venerable V12 flagship.
