Buy it now price $14,900 for 6 days, tesald, 27k miles.

Sellers description:
This 1985 XJS HE is all original and has been graded out as Concours Gold!

The car is a very low mileage, all original car in near flawless condition. 1985 XJS coupes with the V-12 HE configuration are highly desirable and this car is extremely rare being all original and in Concours Gold condition. The color combination - metallic dark grey with dark red interior further makes it very desirable. It was owned for over 20 years by the past president of the local Jaguar club. It has always been a collector car and has received high quality care.

The interior and paint is nearly perfect and there is no rust! See the photos of the engine - it is perfect - and of course the numbers match. All of the glass is original and the car has never been hit or in any accident. The only blemishes are some minor hairline cracks in the wood on the dash and a very minor paint blemish at the windshield line (see pictures of each). It has all of the original manuals including a rare original 6-volume set of Service Manuals and technical bulletins. Also included are an extra set of perfect original wheels mounted with original tires for car shows; original jack, keys, and carpet floor mats; comprehensive original Jaguar marketing materials and even several vintage cassettes.

The car can be used for car shows or driven. It has just had all of the routine service completed as well as new Michelin tires, a new Optima battery and complete tune up. Everything works except the air condioning blows warm and probably only needs a charge of freon. The car runs great and is awesome to drive!

Current bid US $4,900 reserve not met 1 bid 6 days left in auction, seller farlandclassic, now is said to be in Englewood, Colorado.

Sellers description:
This car was delivered new at Denver's downtown Jaguar dealer and we have the full packet of owner's books, warranty cards, radio code and informational cassettes that originally came with it. It has never resided anywhere near the rust belt and the body work is completely clean and straight. Jaguar had a problem with lacquer-checking in their factory finishes at the time, so virtually every car was professionally repainted under warranty, including this one. Odometer problems (caused by pushing the trip reset button while moving) also were common and many speedometer heads were replaced under warranty. This one was done at 3,204 and we have the dealer's documentation for it, so the car has a total of a little over 30,000 miles.

The car was owned for most of its life by the president of the regional Jaguar Club, and was consequently really pampered, frequently presented at shows (we have many of the judging sheets) driven very little and properly maintained. Earlier this year it was fully tuned and serviced by a Jaguar specialist and received a new set of Michelins. The original spare, jack and tools were never used. We have all the keys, a four-volume set of factory shop manuals and service bulletins plus some period Jaguar marketing materials.

The original leather is in very nice shape, plus the headliner, door panels and woodwork are all excellent. The car was never smoked in and still smells very fresh.
It was recently traded in to our dealership on a later-model Mercedes and is seriously for sale. Yes, there are plenty of cheaper XJSs out there, but do you really want one with bad paint, high miles and questionable service history? It's always better in the long run to go with the best example of a collector car you can find rather than spending months and thousands rehabilitating a 'bargain' car. Our shop has inspected the car and found one thing that needs attention: the A/C needs to be charged. That's it! The reserve is set low to offset that minor issue.
