Sellers description:
1985 Jaguar XJS HE
44,000 Original miles
This car has enjoyed a pampered life, the original paint an chrome are in "as new" condition. I am the second owner. The original owner kept the car in a heated garage under a cover and used it only in the summer, and so have I. I purchased it with 32,000 miles with it's original tires still on it. I still have the original tires and rims, but as you can see by the pictures, they have been replaced by a later set of rims and new tires. I also installed a Nardi steering wheel. These are the only substantial changes that have been made. It is in remarkably original condition, a "survivor". Regular maintenance has been performed by a Jaguar only shop. The car runs and drives flawlessly, all systems function properly including ice cold air, and it's a joy to drive. V12 power is smooth and ample, and the independent suspension provides an extremely comfortable yet in control feel. As you can imagine, I hate to part with this Jaguar, I've had fun with it, but there are other cars to experience and enjoy.
