This car appears not to have been sold at retail from the warranty book. The car was purchased with a Hess and Eisenhardt Sunroof, making it a bit rarer. The car had Dayton Wires, I have replaced them with polished 5 spokes. The car had a carriage off restoration completed Jan 10, 2008. It was entered in The March Wheels of Britian-2008 show event, and was judged best of class by the entire group of participants voting who had cars in the show!

Car to be at auction 12/10/08

Sellers description:
The car presented in 2009 is a very, rare 1986 after market modified model. The car originally featured Hess and Eisenhardt factory option sunroof and Dayton wires. In 2006-07 this featured car was subject to a ground-up restoration. This straight, rust free model was an Atlanta area car. The conservator acquired the car from a professional banker who garaged and stored the vehicle for four years after operating for several years. The "Georgia Belle" is in like new condition and features all new OEM replacement parts. No effort was spared to restore the car to it's a new beauty. Paint was stripped to bare metal and the car had 2000 long miles since mechanical restoration and 1000 additional long miles since custom paint was carefully applied.
The replacement, low mileage engine, was accompanied during the restoration with carriage off complete brake system and thorough suspension work, new polished alloy wheels and new Perelli tires. The cockpit dash, steering wheel along with installation of a modern radio/CD, new carpeting, new upholstery, new headliner and trunkliner, and all new rubber parts.

This Jaguar received a top down restoration with a Hess and Eisenhard Sunroof. It is extremely rare. This is perhaps the finest 1986 now in USA. It has new rubber, two engines and a new radio with CD and MP3 capability. All the leather and wood as well as the dashboard have been replaced. This is a stunning example of a very rare and desirable Jaguar Grand Touring XJS-HE
