Ebay item 1/11/18 www.ebay.com/itm/1985-Jaguar-XJS/222791049307
Car has a buy it now price of $15,500 for 20 days, seller mbcollectionboca, 39k miles.
Sellers description:
Pristine, showroom condition with only 39,000 original miles. A true 9.9 out of 10 garage kept beauty with all services completed along with a fresh oil change/fluids in September, 2017. Impossible to call a used car perfect but near perfect would accurately describe this garage queen, non-smoker owned princess. Even the paint appears be be all original.
Interior is spotless! Smells fresh and clean. Exterior equally as clean without a major blemish to mention. Drives excellent and tested at highway speeds. Even at 100mph the ride is smooth, comfortable and quiet with perfectly straight alignment. cold A/C, strong heat, and all options we tried worked.
This Jaguar was owned by an elderly couple residing in Palm Beach Island. Having reached their 80's they decided this toy is no longer of any use thus the sale.
Comes with 2 sets of keys, all books/manuals, and extensive service history dating all the way back to 1986.

www.ebay.com/itm/1985-Jaguar-XJS/143417115820
Car has a buy it now price of $3,000 for 6 days, seller tavernkeeper_antiques, 36k miles.car now said to be in Lynchburg, Virginia, previously Boca Raton, Florida.
Seller's description:
This Jaguar shows 36,000 miles on the odometer, but is exempt on the title because of its age. Judging by the condition of the car, I believe this is accurate. From the appearance, this Jaguar looks as if it sat undriven for several years in Florida and as a result it needs attention. Therefore it is being sold as a restoration project. These cars are becoming very valuable and sought after in the automotive collector world.
The exterior is very nice, but there are areas where the paint has chipped, door dings, minor scrap. There are two areas of the rear window that has bubbled up. Some of the rubber seals have dried out and need replacement. Other than that the exterior is in good condition. Chrome is excellent and overall paint is nice and shiny, but should be repainted. Interior shows very well with almost no cracks in the wood. There is one small crack in the rear seat. Engine compartments shows fine and very clean truck area. Undercarriage is very clean. Tires are fairly new. The wheel rims are color coordinated to the main body of the car. The V12 engine runs smoothly except has a tapping noise. A retired mechanic friend of mine said it sounds like a sticky valve, but I honestly don't know what it is. The transmission hesitates before it shifts into third gear.
This appears to be a very low mileage Jaguar and great candidate for restoration as you will see by the pictures. That is why I bought this car, but I have owned it over a year I can see that I will never get to this project. I am selling this car at a loss (I paid $7,000 in September 2018). Hagerty has these cars as one to watch for appreciation over the next few years and has the value of a Concours condition Jaguar XJS at $32,000. I must sell this car because I have no room left in my carriage house. It is currently being stored in auto warehouse. Please email me with any questions and to schedule a time to view. I'm located in central Virginia.
