This low-mile 1993 Jaguar XJS 4.0 Convertible was purchased by the seller from its original owner in April 2023, confirmed by the included CARFAX vehicle history report. This is a rare version, one of about 60 1993 convertibles equipped with the five-speed manual transmission sold in the U.S. that year. The 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed stick was not only uncommon but also gave the car a more sporting feel. 

This Glacier White Jaguar had been in long-term garage storage, with the CARFAX showing just about 60 miles driven from 2008-'23. The report documents steady maintenance across the years, and the seller notes a slew of services completed over the 4,000 miles he has added. These included a full replacement/update of the A/C system and brakes, and others detailed below. The included Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate confirms a Beige soft top, so the maroon top, which appears older, was likely changed by the original owner. Photos show some minor wear on the driver’s seat, but in all other respects, this Jag shows as a barely used car. Included videos show the car starting, revving, and driving, along with a walkaround.

“The car is in excellent condition, with original paint and absolutely no rust anywhere,” he says, noting just a few dings on the driver’s door. “Everything is in good working order. Due to a mobility issue, I can no longer drive it.” He affirms that both he and the original owner always garaged the XJS, and that the car has always been in Lakeland, Florida.
