Car on ebay 12/25
Seller's description:
1990 Jaguar XJS convertible
This car’s engine has been replaced with a GM V8 crate engine. Current mileage is 83,xxx miles. Easily turns over and runs.
A mechanical racing kit was installed to make the car shift faster.
A glasspack has been installed.
The battery is new within a few years.
Tires were new within five years, but have probably only driven the car less than 1,000 miles since then.
Red exterior paint 8/10
White interior seats are 8/10
A new tan top was put on 6 years ago. Automatic top works.
Automatic windows work.
Radio/CD player with a working automatic antenna.
Breaks are solid.
All interior and exterior lights work.
Since I’ve owned it, the vehicle has always been garaged.
Has minor issues associated with a 35 year old car but nothing too too significant. Problems include a slow coolant leak, the shifter linkage is off by oneā¦for example if you place the car in Drive, it’s actually in Nutrual. Additionally, the speedometer works half the time (all other gauges function all the time).
Dependable ride. The car has been in the family for about 10 years. It was purchased from a collector in Atlanta who had several Jaguars. Starts, runs and drives like a champ.
