This 1990 Jaguar XJS convertible has been with the current owners in central California since 1998 and now shows just under 64k miles. It is finished in Diamond Blue over a blue leather interior with burl wood trim, and features include a newer dark blue power top, 15″ cross-laced alloy wheels, and a factory cassette stereo. Its 5.3-liter V12 is linked to a three-speed automatic transmission, and a coolant leak was fixed in January 2017 and the oil changed in September 2017. This 1990 Jaguar XJ-S V12 convertible has remained registered in California since 1993, and it was acquired from its previous owners of 21 years by the seller on BaT in October 2019. Subsequent work included fluid changes, cleaning the radiator, adding a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo, and replacing the blue soft top, oil pan gasket, oil pressure switch, power steering line, upper radiator hose, tires, and more. Powered by a 5.3-liter V12 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential, the car is finished in Diamond Blue over blue leather upholstery. Features include silver-finished 15″ cross-spoke alloy wheels, heated seats, power lumbar adjustment, and cruise control. Silver-finished 15″ cross-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 235/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires that were installed in October 2019, per the seller. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock discs. The front brake pads were replaced in January 2024, and the rear brake pads were replaced the following December.

The heated seats are upholstered in blue leather, and wood veneer trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior equipment includes a driver-side airbag, power lumbar adjustment, cruise control, and a Bluetooth-capable Kenwood CD stereo. The right window motor was replaced in 2020. The wiper switch does not always turn the wipers off, there is a slow leak in the air conditioning system, and the seller tells us that the system holds freon for approximately three months before a recharge is required.

A four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 71k miles, approximately 7k of which were added under current ownership. The Carfax report lists a mileage inconsistency in an October 2019 entry, though the report indicates it may be the result of a clerical error. The seller tells us that the car has been driven weekly under current ownership.

The 5.3-liter V12 was retrofitted with aftermarket performance intakes under previous ownership. A replacement oil pan gasket and high-pressure power steering line were installed in December 2019, and the oil pressure switch, upper radiator hose, and air conditioning compressor were replaced in 2020. The radiator was removed and cleaned in 2021, and the oil was most recently changed in December 2025.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller tells us that the transmission was serviced under current ownership.

A folder of service records since the 1990s and a tool kit are included in the sale.
