This 1996 Jaguar XJS 2+2 Celebration Edition convertible is powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Ice Blue over beige leather. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, fog lights, a power-retractable blue soft top, 16″ alloy wheels, power-adjustable front sport seats, a six-disc CD changer, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. Purchased by the seller in 2023, this XJS convertible shows 63k miles and is offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, a Carfax report, and a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Ice Blue (MDP) and features a power-retractable blue soft top as well as fog lights, a Jaguar growler hood emblem, dual exhaust outlets, and a telescoping antenna. The front spoiler was refinished in 2023, and the seller states that the trunk lock requires replacement. Scratches, blemishes, and wear on the bumper trim are noted. Damage to the front of the car is noted in a June 2019 entry on the Carfax report.
The 16″ alloy wheels are mounted with an older set of BFGoodrich tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. A brake warning light is illuminated.
The cabin features power-adjustable front sport seats and two rear bucket seats upholstered in beige leather. Interior amenities include a six-disc CD changer, a cassette stereo, cruise control, and automatic climate control. The seller notes stains on the headliner and sun visors, along with cracking in the front seat upholstery.
The wood- and leather-trimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 63k miles, approximately 2,800 of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.0-liter inline-six was factory rated at 237 horsepower and 282 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
