This 1996 Jaguar XJS 2+2 is a final-year Celebration Edition convertible finished in Carnival Red with a beige soft top over Coffee leather. Powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential, the car features 16″ alloy wheels, heated power-adjustable front sport seats, and a cassette stereo linked to a CD changer. This XJS convertible is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the owner with the owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Michigan title in the owner’s name.
The Celebration Edition was released for the final two years of XJS production, and this example is finished in Carnival Red and features a power-retractable beige soft top as well as fog lights, a Jaguar growler hood emblem, and a telescoping antenna. Paint correction was reportedly performed in preparation for the sale. The seller notes a dent on the left side, a scuff on the rear bumper cover, imperfections and crazing in the paint, and cracks in the taillights.
The 16″ alloy wheels are mounted with Continental TrueContact tires that show production date codes from 2014. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin is trimmed in Coffee leather with gray piping, and it features heated power-adjustable front sport seats, Leaper-embossed headrests, automatic climate control, and a cassette stereo linked to a trunk-mounted CD changer.
The wood-and leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 52k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.0-liter inline-six was factory rated at 237 horsepower and 282 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed and the air conditioning was recharged in June 2026, while the hood insulation is said to have been replaced in July 2026.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
