This 1991 Jaguar XJ-S Classic Collection convertible was acquired by the current owner in 2001 and shows 60k miles. It is finished in Signal Red over Doeskin leather upholstery and is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-retractable black soft top, fog lights, power windows, 15″ basketweave alloy wheels, heated sport seats, power lumbar adjustment, wood veneer trim, an aftermarket stereo, and cruise control. This XJ-S convertible is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the current owner with an owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title in the owner’s name.
The car is finished in Signal Red with contrasting pinstripes and has a power-retractable black soft top, quad headlights, fog lights, dual exhaust outlets, and Classic Collection edition badging. The rear running lights do not work. The seller notes that the soft top and rear window power mechanisms were adjusted in preparation for the sale.
The 15″ basketweave alloy wheels are mounted with 235/60 Yokohama tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. Bilstein shocks are installed.
The sport seats feature adjustable lumbar support and are upholstered in Doeskin leather with contrasting red piping. Cabin appointments include a Pioneer CD stereo, cruise control, power windows, and wood trim. The heating switch for the passenger seat does not illuminate.
The aftermarket wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 60k miles, approximately 10k of which have been added under current ownership.
The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 263 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
