This XJS is in very good condition throughout. It is most certainly an eye catcher. It has been stored inside though most of its life. It is very clean throughout and has never been driven hard or abused.

It starts right up every time and runs strong and smooth. Transmission shifts smoothly though all gears. The ride is smooth and correct. Steering is tight. There is virtually no rust anywhere . Tires are good all the way around. It is a very solid example and totally driveable. It only has 130,000 miles which is only 5000 miles per year. Brakes stop well but probably should have pads and rotors.

All the accessories work except the windshield wipers. (needs wiper motor). The original factory paint is starting to chip but still looks decent. The interior is in decent shape overall but some of the wood grain trim is starting to show cracks. The shift console trim is cracking.

This XJS is a very solid car. There aren't many around as clean as this one.

Sellers description:
1990 XJS with NO rust. Starts and runs well. Needs brakes. I drove this car from DC to St. Louis with no problems and tooled around town a while then the brakes went out. I haven't inspected them to determine why. Lights, electronics and accessories work except for slow wipers. All glass is good. It needs a carpet kit and the interior wood replaced. The leather is decent as are the tires. There are no speakers and the previous owner kept two of the wheel center caps, too.

This is an antique car and no longer a daily driver until the brakes can be addressed. A/C doesn't work but the heat does. If you're looking for a rust free project that's an authentic V-12 without any silly modifications, this is a great car for you. The paint is fair with some clear coat issues on the roof and shallow dents here and there that I'm sure can be resolved with PDR. So once again, this car will have to be transported. It has enough braking power to be loaded onto a carrier.
